So, do you know the answer? Do you know what makes you different? I mean, who knows you better then you? Hmmm. What am I talking about? Have you ever wondered why you and me love the great outdoors and all those fresh air adventures and many people don't?

Why is it that we love to see mountains, like most people, but your desire is to stand on top of that mountain? This world is made up of two types of people; those who love the outdoors and want to spend all their time there, and those who don't.

We love to wander the path and the woods, they love to wander though the shopping mall. We love to paddle down some quite and remote river, they like to sit in the pool surrounded by screaming kids. We love to sleep in a tent, they love to sleep in their own bed.

What makes us so different? I mean if you think about it there is a BIG difference in what we dream of, and what we spend our time and money doing. It's not just a small thing if you think about. The idea of sleeping in a tent or wandering off into the woods gives some people nightmares. These are things that make up the ultimate desires of the outdoor adventurers.

I wonder, do you think it is how we are brought up as a child? Are those of us who ran around wild as children more likely to take to the mountains when grown? Is it the things we spend time doing as children or with our parents?

But wait a moment, maybe it has nothing to do with how we were raised. Maybe we are born with it? Do you think that some people are born with an adventuresome spirit. Some of us have something in our genes that calls us to the mountains, woods, and rivers?

Could it also be our personalities? Is there something inside us that drives a person to seek and conquer those peaks and trekks? Do you have to have a touch of crazy to go running of into the hills?

One thing we can know for sure, there is a difference. Some of us love the great outdoors and the adventure it holds. Others don't. Do those run after outdoor adventures have something others don't?
