Adventure By: beachdan84 Winter camping in Iowa is not for the faint of heart! It gets pretty cold here on the flatlands in the Midwest. It's usually pretty cold in middle of winter, in February the wind can have a little bite to it.
But, all you have to do is build a big fire and you can at least keep those toes warm for a few seconds. We took a late February camping trip on North Bear, located near Decorah, Iowa. |
