Adventure By: beachdan84 snowshoeing is the winter has to be one of my favorite outdoor activites in the winter, and the best part is you can pretty much do it anywhere. the gear is small and light and you can take it anywhere in any car.
The prices for snow shoes is actually not that bad, then all you need is poles, you can use whatever winter boots or shoes you have. |
It's pretty awesome to get to learn some of these skills and not have to travel half way across the country to do it. These people near Waterloo, Iowa cover silo's with ice and you can climb all day long with other peoples gear for a very resonable price. The people are willing to teach and there is no pressure.
